Welcome

I am a painter based in Boston, Massachusetts and I make my work because it is something that is deeply a part of me. It is a consistent part of my life that I would like to nurture and explore through for as long as I can. I am able to express my outlook of myself and control the narrative of how I am viewed without worrying about being muted. 

I use my own reference photos to visualize a concept through composition, clothing and lighting. In addition, I am also thinking of how the background will be affecting the mood and message of the piece. I have started creating smaller paintings to create artworks that are more intimate and close to me than larger scale paintings.
